Light International
Light
International is a new publication, just out and devoted solely
to "Lamping." It is the brain child of John Claypole
of Matlock, Derbyshire, UK. John says in the first issue "
This magazine is designed to provide an international, often
serious, but sometimes humorous, interchange between lamp collectors
as far apart as Spokane, WA in the far north-west and the Shetland
Islands at the top end of the cold North Sea - From Sidney to
Perth in 'OZ' to Auckland and 'Windy-Welly' in NZ - yes, over
the years I've heard from you all. A global interchange for information
that will hopefully enable lamp collectors/historians/antique-dealers
to better knowledge of their collections, their exhibits or their
stock in trade. For buying, selling and swapping, a book-review
page, also including a free query-service (please include postage
costs) - if the editor can't answer your questions about a particular
kind of lamp - he can pass it around America, Europe and the
world so there is bound to be someone, somewhere who can."
Inside Issue Number One
