New Lamps in My Collection

~~I have added some lamps to my collection and thought that one way to share them with you is to show them as we go along.

Wild und Wessel Student lamps~~We have found a pair of Wild and Wessel Harvard Style Student Lamps. These lamps were manufactured in Germany around the turn of the century. The lamps are cast brass and highly polished. The shades are pink, straight-sided reading shades. These lamps will be featured on the winter cover of Light International.

Angle Barn L:antern

~~This Angle Lamp Barn Lantern is in real nice shape. I am showing it without the elbow globe or chimney top so you can see how the No. 100 lamp fits in the lantern. There is glass on three sides and the bottom. It appeared in the list of lamps for sale by Angle Lamp Mfg. around 1917. It was marketed as an outside lamp that didn't flicker and was unaffected by the weather.

Classic Angle Lamp

~~I have added a pair of Angle Lamp Classic lamps. This one has a blue swirl chimney top by Fenton (reproduction). The other one sports an original Ruby Chimney Top. This was Angle's "student style" lamp. It was offered in 1921 and 1922 through Montgomery Ward. The lamp is a very heavy cast metal.
